Job Description:
We are seeking a responsible and hardworking Lab Attendant to support daily testing and sample handling activities in our Agriculture Laboratory. The ideal candidate should be disciplined, attentive to detail, and capable of assisting lab analysts and officers in routine analytical and field sample preparation work.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in receiving, labeling, and preparing soil, plant, and feed samples for analysis.
Support analysts in testing related to moisture, crude protein, fiber, and nutrient analysis.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of lab benches, glassware, and instruments.
Help in sample drying, grinding, and weighing procedures.
Maintain laboratory records, sample registers, and reagent stocks.
Follow safety and hygiene protocols in the lab.
Qualification & Skills:
Qualification: Intermediate / Diploma in Laboratory Technology (Preference for candidates with Agriculture or Science background).
Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment and handling procedures.
Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
Honest, punctual, and eager to learn technical laboratory work.
